Fan Club Weekend 2010
Hey everyone!
I had the most incredible time over fan club weekend. I am so grateful to have many wonderful people supporting the show and my storyline. It was great getting some face time with you all, and even better to have an event with SUCH PASSIONATE, FUN PEOPLE!
The event with Dominic was a ton of fun, and I hope you all enjoyed yourselves as much as we did. There were lots of laughs that kept me going later than I thought! Thank you so much for spending your time getting to know me better, and making the weekend as memorable for me as I hope it was for all of you :)

EMMYS!
Hey guys!
What a great weekend! I am still on cloud nine! It was wonderful to be in Vegas with everyone out there - I can't express the joy I feel to work with such a great group of people who support me 100%. The night was truly memorable. I feel so blessed to receive another recognition. I lost my voice from all that celebrating! Thank you, fans, for the unwavering support. And now...I move out of the "young" category....really?...I'm only 26 and I'm "old"??? hahaha

An all nighter..
Last night we filmed on location from 6:00pm-5:30am. CRAZY! It was a lot of fun, but a lot of work as well. It was an interesting set-up to have fans be able to watch the process...I hope you all enjoyed it! I had an awesome time outside the usual confines of a stage!! Unfortunately, I heard some rumblings today from some disgruntled fans that the actors weren't 'nice enough to come over and hang out with the fans.' Normally I don't bother with gossip, but I find this one to be upsetting. Contrary to that rumor, I was able to come over when I was told I wouldn't be disrupting or distracting from the filming process. The people who seem to be upset are those whom had left before that occurred. I am sorry for that. Really I am. But I'd like to remind you that our main priority was to work. It wasn't like socializing at a fan event...remember...it was work. We do our best to make everyone happy and do everything we can to make things more memorable for you. But we also gotta bring our attention to your beloved GH that airs on your TVs! Please don't misunderstand the intention of the day or doubt our continued appreciation for your support. There is much love on our end for you. I hope this clears things up.. xoxo J

Hey guys!
GH has been keeping me very busy which in turn keeps me very happy! Been doing tons of press for this upcoming "summer of love" storyline, so be sure to stay tuned...
Couple of shout outs - JoLu fans for my beautiful bouquet of roses and Congrats balloon for the Emmy nom. It fell over in my car and spilled half the water all over the passenger seat, but has made it home where I can enjoy them every day!
Also, Amanda Millstead - thanks for the gift. Very thoughtful and sweet to receive at work.

Thanks for all the great support for Dante and Lulu. We feel the love and it makes us even more excited about the work that we do!

A Moment of Thanks...
I don't quite know how to go about expressing my thanks. The GH fans are my first, my most loyal, MY fans. It's a funny thing to have people who are drawn to and compelled by your work. I am deeply touched to have individuals that care about my truest passion, and this feeling is so strong that I want to acknowledge you all for such a benevolent foundation. It is staggering to find that people who are dedicated to the work on General Hospital are just as supportive of new ventures elsewhere. I guess a fan base to me has always felt like a General Hospital fan base, not truly my own. With the remarkable support I've found despite time away from GH and canceling my Fan Club Event, I really express my deepest gratitude for those that I can now call, "my fans." You know who you are. Thank you.

Nomination!
I am truly soaking in this time in my life. It is absolutely wonderful to feel recognized and supported. I'm grateful for my job, co-workers, crew, and fans and I couldn't feel more humbled with this nomination. It is an extraordinary time mostly because I get to share these feelings with my good friend, Kirsten Storms, also nominated in my category. She really is a hard-working asset who has been constantly underrated and overlooked. Of course, I am just as proud of Bradford Anderson who throws himself into anything they give him turning it into an honest, unique scene. And Tony Tony Tony...he elevates a scene just by being in the room. I've never worked with anyone like him, and my work has been changed forever. All are very deserving and I will be proud to stand behind them on August 30th. Thank you, fans, for all the support. It makes these moments even sweeter.

Hey all!
Just thought I'd stop by and give you guys a little update.
First off, thank you Jolu fans for the tree! I asked Brandon if I could keep it and I have it planted at my house! I LOVE it. It's so funny because I'm learning how to garden around my place, and I never realized how much plants can actually cost. We've been saving money for our planting, so it was a perfect surprise to receive a tree.
Next, FCW. I can't wait to see you all there. I'm hosting my first SOLO event at FCW (my first year I did one with Kirsten and Lindze), but that's not to say cast mates wont be stopping by...::fingers crossed:: ;) ;)
How are you guys liking Lulu's storyline? I've been hearing mixed reviews because of the Johnny/Lulu demise. I know some people miss Jolu, but I think this break is actually good. Nothing is ever permanent in daytime, so at least if they get back together, it'll be a fresh start. The characters needed some space to find themselves again, and as an actor I'm loving it. I think others have noticed the "old Lulu" as well...and just so you know, I've noticed it too. :)
What about Lulu and Ethan? Are they siblings or what? That was the question on my mind for a loooooong time and I finally know the truth! I can't tell you, but I can say that you'll find out soon enough. Either way, the cast has really taken a liking to Nathan so it's nice having him on board.
Lulu and Maxie? No, not like that...I mean, their friendship. I personally have enjoyed the development of this love/hate rivalry between them. It's smart and layered. Each girl has a list of flaws that balance eachother out, but they never fail to surprise you with an act of maturity and selflessness. ::Gasp!:: They're finally growing up! We actually just filmed some stuff yesterday with Bradford that had us cracking up. I was literally in tears. Bradford's so good with the physical comedy and Kirsten's laugh is contagious so I'm always struggling to keep a straight face with them. Can't wait for you guys to see it.
I've mostly wanted to say thanks for all the support. I really love working on GH and I value your feedback more than anything. You keep us on the air. Hope to see you at FCW.

Long time no speak...
Heading out to Boston this weekend! Can't wait to see the town cause I love it, but mostly, can't wait to kick off the fan tours in different states, finally! As you probably all know already, there is a great group rallying there so it will be TONS of fun.
Also, I got the official invite for Super Soap so I will be attending again this year! Yay! Just found out, though, this is the last year of Super Soap....ever...which really makes me sad. I hope to see all the familiar faces there, and maybe even some new ones to make the close-out spectacular. :)
Don't worry too much though, ABC is making the change to better it, so there will be something else going on instead in its place. Still, there is no place like Dinseyworld...
Hope you are all enjoying GH. I had a ton of fun working with Genie and bawling my eyes out (right before my wedding which was really tough to do!). Keep up the support - we love it.

What a fun night!
I had such an awesome time this year cause Kirsten came!!! It was alot of fun getting ready with her and enjoying the rest of the night together.
Thank you so much Marchesa for my fantastic dress, Curran for the kick-ass hair, and Charlie Lapson for the bling and clutch. I felt like a princess!

Thank you JoLu forum for the DELICIOUS cookie arrangement. Seriously, you never know if manufactured cookies will taste that good, but these ones were fantastic! They were all gone in one day (and mind you, they were humongous). That was a really sweet gesture and Brandon and I loved them. Thanks again.

I wanted to thank the Lulu/Logan fans who sent the Starbucks gift set - it was so sweet and I have it all at work to get me through the long days.
Also, I want to thank the Lulu/Johnny fans that sent the cool fan booklet and teddy bear REPLICAS! The bears are absolutely adorable!

Im sorry fans - I do not have a MySpace page. I never have. The reason being is that I have juliemarieberman.com where I can talk to you guys.

IS NOT MY OFFICIAL PAGE! It's not fair that fans think I am posting photos or communicating via MySpace. I am not. I never have! If you are talking to "me" on MySpace, you are just talking to someone who watches the show just like you and knows nothing else about who I am or what I'm like. I have always appreciated the fan pages out there, but its disturbing to see people assuming my identity and claiming that they are ME - and for what? I just don't get it. Please be wise and believe me when I say I'm not on MySpace.
Let's re-think some signs of a fake "I am Julie" page:
1. All photos having to do with appearances, GH stills, GH people, or fan photographs. Wouldn't you think I have a life outside of GH? Look at these MySpace photos and really think about why I would only have GH related pictures or professional shots.
2. Using information about me that is completely accessable anywhere! Join my fanclub and you'll find out bits of info that these pages are using to validate their false identity.
3. My "top" friends are GH people(more non-official pages). Notice there is nothing remotely personal about "my" page. I have friends OUTSIDE of work.
My last request is that all the wonderful fan pages out there that have anything to do with me would please spread this information. Hopefully the people who are running this scam will stop and have a little more respect for me. And most importantly, I hope the fans will challenge these so called "official sites" of mine on MySpace and end the lies once and for all.
Sorry to have to be so grumpy during such a great holiday season, and I hope I will never have to type the words MySpace again!

Super Soap Weekend Wrap Up
WOOOOOWWW
What a weekend! I had such a wonderful time in Florida hanging out with so many fans - thank you to all who came...especially to those who waited in the wee hours of the morning just to get a pass for my autograph (ps you are all so crazy! but i love it) Im sure everyone who was there is still recovering cause I was exhausted by Sunday afternoon. SSW is like a tornado that sucks you in, shakes you up, and spits you out back into reality again. That weekend is always so crazy, but so worth it for me. I appreciated all the wonderful people I met, and I'm so happy to hear there are so many different fans for the Lulu/Logan, Lulu/Spinelli and Lulu/Johnny storylines - that'll give the writers tons of room to work!
Lastly, I promised a little miss I would give her a shout out on my site...Meghan - you are the best! She was my guide 2 years in a row now and she's practically become family...I'm already having withdrawls and it's only been 3 days...

Yesterday an intern brought me some YUMMY cupcakes from Vanilla Bake Shop (how did you know...) and Debby O'Connor told me that the fans at a Lulu/Logan forum sent them! Not only that, but those fans also made a $260 donation to the Muscular Dystrophy Association in my name...
I can't tell you how touched I am that fans would do something like this for me. That was such a thoughtful and amazing gift, and I am so happy that Muscular Dystrophy awareness is increasing.

Long time no chat
Hey all
Just thought I'd write a quick note to all of you since I haven't had time in a while. Work is going great! So much fun stuff is going to be happening in the next upcoming months...we've even got a couple of new characters on the canvas - not to mention a new guy who will inevitably cross Lulu's radar. Oh my boy crazy little Lulu...

4th of July
Happy Birthday America!!!
Where were you on the 4th? I was able to see Atlanta, Georgia and participate in the "Salute 2 America" parade. It was really fun. Despite being told that the weather was relatively less humid than usual, I was still sticking to the seat of the car driving me through the parade. It was funny seeing the people watching the parade cause they wouldn't wave until I got close enough to see, and then they'd be like, "ohhhhh luuuuluuuu! I KNOW YOU! GENERALHOSPITAL ISTHEBESTEVERRRRRR!!!" It was fun to see people get unexpectedly excited...great crowd.
Anyway, thanks to all who came out to see the parade-it was fun.

I have touched on this issue on a fansite a while ago, but people still seem to be confused. I am not on My Space. The pages that claim to be me are fake (funny how they only use photos from red carpets...thats usually a dead giveaway. Im not THAT into my publicity!) Please remember this and know that this site, juliemarieberman.com, is the only one that I use.
I am sorry people are out there who can't settle on making fansites that I respect and support, and instead they are pretending to be me. The deceit is not fair to you, the fans, so I felt the need to clarify this issue again.

Post-Emmy Night Wrap-Up
WOW what a night!
I had such a great time on Friday night...though it was BOILING on the carpet and absolutely crazy trying to get around! I had a chance to hang out with Ambyr Childers from All My Children during the pre-show interviews etc. and she was so adorable! She's a very poised, down-to-earth girl and it was fun hanging out with her...not to mention, how great was her dress?!
Also fun was meeting Levin Ramblin from All My Children as well...I wish I had more opportunities to hang out with people from other shows cause it's really cool to connect with other daytime actors.
Sadly, there was no win for me...but who cares about winning when you can dress up in a fabulous gown for a night?! Thank you Nicola Finetti for my fun frock...
Hope you all enjoyed the show and got your fill of Bob Barker...I know we all did.

Pre-Emmy Jitters...
I can't believe it's tomorrow...
I've been so busy with work that I haven't had time to even process the fact that the EMMYS are TOMORROW!! I am so excited now that I finally have a dress (holding out for the right one always takes things until the last minute)...but everything is set and ready for tomorrow. Now it's time to go and have a great time celebrating daytime's achievements and all the hard work that has gone into every day's final product.
I can't wait to get out there all dressed up like a princess...see you guys on the red carpet!

Scott Clifton
Well the sad news is out...Scott Clifton is leaving General Hospital.
Anything I say will sound cliche or will have already been said, but I really am going to miss him. He has been such a good friend of mine on the show, and his talent and great work ethic made GH that much more fun for me. I am dissapointed he's leaving for selfish reasons, but he's excited at all the prospects that await him so I'll bite my tongue and be happy for him. Scott -- you will be missed....
